Played PS4 BETA - Bought PS3 version now cannot seem to log in

I have recently downloaded the beta and really enjoyed it. Not wanting to wait until April and to take advantage of the free upgrade to PS4 from PS3 I purchase the PS3 collectors edition.

I have sat through the install, gone to try and log in with my square enix account (linked to my PSN ID and the user name is filled in) and got told there had been suspicious activity on my account and to reset password. I have and it is still not working.

Please advise what to do to rectify this issue as I would like to start playing FF14 RR on my PS3 until I can move over to the PS4

What are the messages are you getting?

Did you register your PS3 code on the mogstation? (guessing you need to register it there)

At first it was "suspicious activity on account change your password". Then changed password and it comes up with invalid ID or password. Registered on Mogstation, but not able to log in on the PS3 at all. Username is filled in and greyed out.

Can login in one the PS4 but absolutely nothing on PS3

EDIT I registered the PS4 BETA account to my PSN and this is probably where the greyed out username is from. However I want to now play the PS3 version. Seems very very bugged however you go about it.

Did you get an email reguarding the security of your account? If so check in the news section "important information" there is an on going issue with fake websites plishing accounts and will redirect you to there websites. I would check this out to make sure no one hacked your account.

I do know that if you were playing on the PS3 then go to the PS4 you can't go back on the PS3

That's not until the beta testing is done. You create a completely new character on the ps4 and it is deleted once the beta testing is over. I got on the ps4 beta and have no problems playing my original character on ps3.
