To all of Ultros, I pose a question; What should I do about my situation? I finally get it in gear and want to progress, but since I want to play with my friends and experience content with them, I feel like I should wait on them to finish content. On top of that, I want to actually get groups together for weekly clears of Coil/Primals, but I don't know if there are open groups, and the thought of joining already established groups is a little nerve racking.

Well, in my opinion, start to level a new class/job so you can do content with your low level friends, thats what I did. As for the Coil/Primals group, shout for a group, or start a shout to create a new group. Tell them that you are new to those areas but want to make a good static group.
At least thats my suggestion : )
