[hel] tab target only engaged enemies?

Hi all, so I've been trying for a while to get this to work, I want to tab target only engaged enemies.

The filters don't seem to work, even setting a hotkey to a filter still tab targets everything, I only want to tab target engaged or aggro'd enemies.

Filters for sheathed and drawn weapons do appear to change the filter, but the filter doesnt seem to work, and setting the controller filters and then activating them doesnt seem to work either. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

Tab's default keybinding ignores target filters completely. You'd need to switch it to a keybinding that uses the filter system. Here's something from another thread:

There's no setting to "Cycle through Party Members." There's "Cycle through Enemies (Tab & Shift+Tab)", "Cycle Up/Down through Enmity List (Ctrl+Num8 & Ctrl+Num2)", and even "Cycle through Alliance List (Ctrl+Num6 & Ctrl+Num4)". But if you want to cycle through the party, you have to enable target cycling in Character Settings, set up keys to "Set Targeting Mode to Party Only" and then back to whatever you want it on, then begin cycling.

But it's so much more involved than it needs to be. I'd much rather there be available keybinds to do the exact same thing as "Cycle through Alliance List" but with the Party List. It seems a little ridiculous that the functionality is there but not capitalized on. Please please, SE.

Yeah I found that and followed it too, but it still doesnt seem to work.
