Being offended doesn't make you special or automatically right.

Of course not. But I think there's such a thing as common courtesy. Typically, there's a way you act around your friends, and there's a way you act around people you've just met. You can't expect everyone to be cool with how you act or how you present yourself when you casually use derogatory names, especially the equivalent of starting a club with that name as your title. It's just.. not cool.

Is it possible to change the name of offensive free company names? I reported an FC to a GM to see if they can be forced to change the name. I will not post the FC to avoid name shaming.

Not sure if you can, but it's worth a try.

You're telling me to grow up without knowing the FC name? Good job making an asinine assumption about me and/or the name.

Regardless, I'm more than sure you don't see this FC every second of your playtime. I know how this is coming off but I mean no offense. You need to stop taking things personal, especially if it's something you can't control. An FC name is at the very least some sort of representation of the player's playstyle and you're in no position to make such demands to change it.

Have some of you guys actually read the NPCs dialogue? Especially of the NPCs in Ul'Dah or Limsa Lominsa? I've lost count of the sexual innuendos and out-right statements relating to some sort of "vulgarity"; it's not even surreptitious.

Saw an FC tag that I would have reported just because if I was SE I wouldn't want to be allowing FC tags that told me to screw myself.

Stopping the hate culture is better than ignoring it or telling some one to grow thicker skin.

Wasn't an FC name but did see a person of a female hygiene products brand name for their name reported it and they just added an s which was just a different type of the same brand and product.

Frees peach only goes so far and is only protected so far.
