A shallow game breeds a shallow community. When they address the content issues which many people have mentioned, that is to say bring the game world to life and create more than just a glorified waiting room for dungeons. Essentially, when gear scores and dodging skills are all that matter, any kind of more involved interaction or cooperation between people is going to be fairly limited in overall character.
Logging on for reset and loosing the incentive to remain longer has in recent weeks have made me consider creating another account on EVE-online and replaying the Tomb Raider series and other games. S.E are playing with fire on a tightrope, lets hope they don't drop it and fall off.

I disagree. I think the community gets worse depending on how much an individual player relies on others for success and progress, regardless of how good the game is.

Games like Leauge of Legends and FPS games have far worse communities than this game's.

In korean and chinese mmos endgame content is locked behind a wall of grind and farm, so only best players will ever reach it -> problem solved.

I like how people try to blame everything on the lack of overworld content.

I have no clue why but this is the only mmo community I've been in with a crap ton of rage quitters and wanna be elitist. I figured it was because a lot of people in this game, this is their first time reaching end game in any mmorpg. So they think they're hot shots and just go over board. I really have no clue, I just know its bad here and it shouldn't be. There's no long CDS or exp penalties or anything when wiping, yet people act like its the end of the world.

Probably because difficulty wise, this game is already pretty dumbed down, yet alot of players are still having a difficulty? But seriously, compared to other MMOs that I played (Dragon Nest namely), this game's end content is laughable.

That's 100% true. I played Aion before this and I feel that DC( lvl 39 dungeon, lvl cap is 65) is as hard as coil which is sad. But since I find it so easy, I don't really mind wiping on it. It's mind blowing to me how we end up wiping on some stuff but I'm just like "meh"

Draupnir Cave, seriously? I beat that first time out and half the party were new to the instance. Coil from start to finish took me about 8 weeks from first setting foot in there to downing Twintania. Aion's PvE is stupidly easy in comparison to XIV, even the hardest dungeon at the time (60 cap) was just a magic resist check and healer test although that isn't the game's focus really.

The only reason Draupnir Cave is hard at all is because they set the entry level way too low.

Not even close, I don't feel DC is hard but to me coil and dc are on the same level. Coil is mad easy to me. I don't think Aion is Everquest hard but its like 100 times harder than anything on this game.

And you must be talking about TS.

To be fair, during Wrath in WoW, the numbers were the highest, and at least heroic dungeons could be facerolled. Don't know about raids, but heroic dungeons could be done easy and fast, and my dps queues were never over five minutes. Come cata, when they made things harder, numbers dropped and my queues as a dps were close to half an hour. I know correlation doesn't equal causation, but just something i noticed.
