I just looked through every single freaking winner... guess how many I saw that violated the rules? Zero... what a shocker...

One of these days SE is going to announce contest results and we won't have an "I obviously should have won, here's why I think SE cheated me..." thread.

This isn't as bad as the FC video contest with the "Why didn't I win by default?" guy... but still...

You need to look again, there is a photo where the heart image is clearly laid where it shouldn't be. That "floating heart" shouldn't be placed in an FC house. I know you wish I was going that route but I'm not. Secondly there are people posting characters without themselves in it and winning how is that fair? And finally I said I don't want compensation, I'm not even looking for it! I just want people to be aware.

-sigh- I'm not sure why you're so hell bent on trying to one up me. That does indeed prove that you could get hearts within the bed/in a room. But while it may correct me on that, it does not change my stance on the questionable picks.

You accused someone of cheating based entirely on your own ignorance. You asked people to take the time to browse through the winners. This isn't one upping you, this is simply providing irrefutable proof against the only direct accusation you've bothered to make.

If you want to continue complaining then stop skirting the issue and start posting the other winners you have an issue with so people can pick those apart as well.

The fact of the matter stands though that you have provided ZERO proof so far that a single winning entry got through by cheating or that your loss was anything other than poor luck.

I don't like the idea of posting ones I find questionable, and whom did I accuse other than when I said I didn't think it was possible to do that. When you corrected it I took back that statement in saying I was wrong. Posting ones I find odd feels like name dropping which is why I haven't done that, rather than linking the winners for others to give feedback themselves.

So now you've gone from "SE isn't following their own rules!" to nitpicking which entries you personally don't believe should have won based on quality?

You started this thread based on the belief that SE had broken its own rules by selecting a winner you believed was photoshopped. I proved the exact opposite, that the heart effect in that picture was not only possible in FC housing but that it was the only place in the entire game outside the main cities where that picture could have been taken.

Given a second chance to go through the entries and provide an example of another instance SE broke their own rules all you've been able to do is reduce your argument from "SE didn't follow their own rules" to "I don't like this picture". ONE HUNDRED winners and you started this thread based on a single entry that has already been confirmed as perfectly fine without a single other example to back yourself up.

Grow up.

Those are the rules right there, but if you take the time to browse through the lists of those chosen, it would appear that SE is not following their own rules.

So I'd like to know how exactly these things are judged for one and do you the community think it's fair?

For all she knows, people may have just not paid attention to the rules (this happens with every contest in the history of ever), but I don't see her accusing anyone of cheating. I don't think this was intended to be a witch hunt.

I doubt she's the only one who feels this way either after that entry with the 5fps haukke manor cutscenes for the FC video contest. And yes, I know they were the only submission for that server blahblah. I'm sure a lot of people are still wary about entering the contests after that.
