Ermagerd! You locked me out!

I went to Crystal Tower last night after not going for a while and something funny happened as per the usual. It's something that happens like every time I've gone into CT in the past.

Someone always gets locked out.

Now, let me say, I'm not talking about that guy that sprints to the next boss and pulls it immediately, locking out half the raid. That guy is a troll and is just wasting time for his amusement.

What I am talking about is, it looks like everyone is there, it's been like 5 minutes since the last boss died. Someone says, "everyone here?". There is silence, or a bunch of "here!" "alliance b ready!" and such. So the tank pulls. The fight goes on for a minute or two and suddenly you see like 4 people outside the barrier and one of them goes "Ermagerd! You locked me out!".

Why does this happen? I understand some of you have children that need attention. Or maybe you need another beer before you buzz wears off. Or hopefully it isn't that you need to give your child attention so they will bring you another beer. But regardless, why aren't you here?

I was literally exhausted. I should have been in bed. I was doped up on prescription medication, which is probably worse than being drunk. However, after a boss died, I could make it to the next one without trouble. Why are you sober, not tired people having trouble?

Then, another thing that happens is, one of the locked out people say: "HAHA You will wipe now! You aren't able to kill that boss without me!" Guess what happens like 98% of the time? We kill that boss. This just leads me to think, if these people that get locked out see themselves as so important to success: Why aren't they making it to the next boss in a timely fashion? Are they getting lost? CT isn't a maze!

What are your thoughts? Are you tired of this happening too? Are you one of the Ermagerd people and think I'm being unfair? Enlighten me. I want to understand this!

I've been suddenly pulled afk before but I promptly apologized. Some people do fake afk to be lazy though.

Yea, I mean, I don't mind when it happens really. When people are polite about it, then it doesn't really matter to me what they were doing to end up being locked out.

I guess I'm just wondering about those people that do it and be rude about it. It's like...were they really so surprised that happened as a result?

Within my own parties I tell everyone to step in front of the purple line so they can get in the fight even if they go afk. Try to get each df party doing this. If everyone does this then there's no need for a ready check

Why people AFK for a quick WC or drink OUTSIDE the purple line I will never know.
