Some Housing Wishes :o)

These are my personal wants...so please dont judge them too harshly as we all have different interests and taste

Coming from Rift, and having so many options and space to work with in Dimensions, I would like to ask the developers to at least think about adding a few features if it is possible as the game matures.

1. Item Limit

As others have said item limits are far too low.

when "small" housing is expanded to additional floor as well, limits for all housing sizes need a nice boost.

-200 for small, 300 for medium, and 400 for Large at minimum, would give better options/freedom in design for people. Players can be highly creative, and need the freedom to do so i think.

-outdoor limits are far to low as well, at least 3x the current limit please! (or allow us to resize items so that few can be useful ie/trees, plants, some form of widespread groundcover etc)

Remove limits for "one per estate" items. ( for both indoor and outdoor restrictions)

2. addition of many more water features ie/ Grid. inn has a nice little pool/pond ...more furniture like that would be awesome. ponds with fish, aquariums...disco ball lighting lol very unique furniture ideas

3 Much larger trees for outdoor use. ( i did suggest resizing but that would probably be tricky to implement)
The size of the current event Peach Blossom tree would be excellent idea, and far more noticeable then the tiny ones we have to use now.

Most look like saplings, not trees. The homes are so tall and the trees look stunted
(interior plants : need some very large plants for indoor use as well.)

4. More obvious/intense lighting effects.

ie/ I partitioned off and entire section of a room (floor to ceiling entirely)...should be total darkness but it was just as brightly lit as the rest of the room, partitions needs to block lighting to give a realistic effect imo.

-** many many more dramatic lights that reach from floor to ceiling, not so small.**

5. Also you cannot mount anything on partitions, they should be "solid" and allow us to mount pictures, and any wall mounted fixtures to them.

Every item should be deemed as "tabletop ready"

Meaning, the company chest for example, cannot place flower vase, stuffed choco etc on top... every piece of furniture should be capable of having items added to them.

I sincerely think there are too many restrictions "tabletop", "floor", "outdoor", "indoor" etc....Please consider eliminating the restrictions and allow us to place items stacked and configured how and where we desire.

6. Would really like option to add in more windows. Since the exterior and interior are instanced anyway...I would love to be able to add for example a huge Bay window from interior or stained glass roof etc... (The ability to add from exterior would be great too but even if it just affected interior view..personally I would love that.

7. Ability to control interior light intensity. Sliding scale dimmer switch for each light or at very least the main lighting/floor.
Currently it is too bright for my personal taste, would love to dim things down but still be able to make individual table lamps etc super bright....

-Ability to dye/stain floor tiles(as a whole or individually), walls/partitions. ceiling color and composition etc.

-All furniture/rugs/outdoor furnishings, even shrubbery, trees....should be "dyable"

-Would also love to be able to alter glow of all lights to a different hue for added effect.

Thats all I can think of for now, again, these are just personal views and wants!!!

I do hope the developers at least consider adding a few things suggested in time. Players from many of the games I have played are extremely creative, please allow them to be so in this one as well

There's an ongoing thread for housing requests that devs have been participating in. I would suggest posting your suggestions there if you haven't already and since some of your suggestions have been brought up there already, make sure the like the posts that you agree with!
