I don't think any other beta has made people NOT buy the game as much as ESO's.

during the first weekend beta the game felt ok to me and i thought that i may get better the more i level
during the 2nd and third i became extremely bored

well whoever leave ffxiv for eso, have fun i guess, whatever rocks your boat.
