Odds are it will be on the 24th or 25th. Since last time they did a live letter a couple days before the patch and they do big patchs on monday in the past.

You didn't play 1.x after Yoshi took over - Barring natural disasters and even the official release date of ARR, every patch has been delayed at least once to some extent and he even said himself the dev cycle was pushed forward due to dealing with server issues early on. No one has 'bad memory', they just know better that it could be delayed per usual.
That's not a major update - Per history almost every major update has been delayed to some extent.
Remember when 2.0 launched on January 2013? Yeah "subject to change" it all you want, point is they've never been quite early on schedule so you can always count on them releasing new relevant patches until the very last week if not a month later like with 2.1. The real surprise would be if they finally managed an early update, but global standard quality takes time right.
If you're so confident you won't mind me remembering these posts and bringing them back up when you have been proven incorrect. You didn't play 1.x after Yoshi took over - Barring natural disasters and even the official release date of ARR, every patch has been delayed at least once to some extent and he even said himself the dev cycle was pushed forward due to dealing with server issues early on. Eso is so bad and boring, not to mention the absolutely horrible character animations ... its defo a pass haha. It just look like an expensive Darkfall. And Wildstar is not even half good too.So...basically FFXIV ARR? ESO actually gets you more involved than ARR does - it doesn't bring anything new to the table, like ARR, but it does the 'standard' better. I did a test by doing the same exact thing I did in my early start of ARR and no surprise it felt exactly the same, even the exact same quest types in almost literally the same exact order to "teach" you the game.
EQN, EQN but until then, FFXIV is the only good, not bugged, enjoyable mmo out there, just profit.
Their ganna release it on April fools. Then announce it's actually a week later after that.
That's their ultimate prank.
Does the standard better? No, it doesn't. It bored me to tears playing through the betas. I wouldn't touch ESO with a 10 foot pole or even play it if someone decided to buy it for me and give it free. But that's me.So...basically FFXIV ARR? You never played Asheron's Call, did youI had a small hype for ESO since the last mmo I played was fps action combat ( tera ) but the graphics in eso just suck wayyyy too much. They said they sacrificed graphical quality to allow for large zerg gameplay.....???????? Who wants to play large zerg games? get carried along in an ocean of people....wow. Even ff 14 far surpasses eso in graphical quality, and ff14 is anything but polished, but at least it looks pretty. ESO is probably the ugliest mmo ever ( apart from wow )or the original Everquest?

Heh. I still hop on AC and AC2 from time to time. For nostalgic reasons only.
