We're pleased to announce the next Letter from the Producer LIVE Part XIII focusing on the many exciting updates coming with Patch 2.2! This next Live Letter will take place on Friday, March 21, 2014, from 2:30 a.m. (PDT) / 9:30 (GMT)!

In this thread we'd like you to specifically pose questions regarding the upcoming addition of glamours, magicks adventurers may use to alter the appearance of gear. In addition to collecting your questions in real-time via Twitter, we will also use this thread to gather your questions ahead of time and answer them during the event.

What sort of restrictions can we expect out of this system? For example, will be able to use race gear for appearance items?

Does the look of the gear still have to be within the restrictions of your current job and level? Aka, Level 35 dragoon wearing 40 paladin gear.

Glamours will work in dungeons/istances too?

If my current gear is a 2 slot piece (eg darklight cowl), will the glamour be required to be of a 2 slot piece as well?

Will there be gear that is intended to be used for glamour and essentially useless otherwise?

Will the equipment which we use for a glamour be destroyed in the process?

Well weapons and accessories (necklaces, wrist, earrings, and rings) be include in the glamour system?

Will crafters and gatherers be involved in the Glamour system in any way?

Are there ways to process the old darklight gears? Maybe reimburse with seals/allagan currencies or upgrade or even storing it away in Armoire?
