Some of these questions have been answered already.
Yes crafters will be involved. They craft an item which essentially can have the appearance of a gear set saved onto it.
Once equipped, the appearance that was saved to that item will be shown on your character instead of the appearance of the current gear you have equipped.
You can have many of these items with different mirages or appearances set to each.

Would I be able to equip vanity items like Odin armor for the glamour gear slots?

Will the newest gear (gear from the Binding Coil Turns 6-9, Leviathan, Moggle Mog EX, etc) be included in the Glamour system when it is initially released or will it be excluded until Patch 2.3?

How do you plan to handle armor pieces that restrict slots? (e.g. darklight cowl restricting head slot)

Will we be able to still look like we're equipping head gear to an empty slot? I hope so cuz I never much enjoyed the "tin can" look of the heavy darklight armor.

In light of the new glamour system will there be an npc -"shop" in one of the major cities where we can "buy" glamorous gear as well?

Will there be a 'wardrobe' in your inn room that you can access to change the glamour outfits as you wish?

Would 'stored' copies of the wardrobe pieces allow dye changes?

Are weapons/off hands and the like going to be available in the glamour system?

Is the glamour system going to be turned off automatically in the PvP areas?

Will the glamour system be per class/job or just on the character itself?

I've heard that this system involves binding an equipment graphic to a crystal.

So where am I supposed to store all of these individual glam crystals for all of my classes? I don't have any spare inventory or retainer space as it is.

Will there be an option to store multiple glamor sets for a specific piece of armor similar to the gear set system?

For example say if I had 3 different outfits I liked wearing as a tank. Would I have to go through the process of redoing the glamor crystal each timer I wanted to change or could I set multiple glam crystals for one equipped item at once?

Will we receive the option to dye equipment in which we were previously unable to while turning it into a glamour prism?

You can combine items of different classes in the same vanity set ?

For example war helmet, healer chest, dragoon boots, etc.
