Will we be able to use the Aesthetician on our Retainers yet? I want to be able to change my retainer's hairstyle to one of the recently added ones. Also, I really would like to be able to dress my retainers up in... well, anything is better than the handmaid/maiden gear they wear now.

I agree with you, TheGrimace I would want to change my retainer looks and I also want to give them a Lightning's haircut. :P

Is the retainers ability limited to your ability in a task?

If I have a level 50 fishing class but a level 10 miner class will my retainer have a proficiency in fishing proportional or equal to mine? Will it not be able to venture for higher ores?

This would increase the desire to level gathering and crafting classes as you can put in the time to level to 50 then not have to keep banging away at it to utilize it. Sort of like unlocking passives on a class i don't enjoy playing for the benefit of my character as a whole.

If our retainers have a level/rank system, will we be able to re-spec our retainers (avoid the current issue we have at the moment with our Chocobo Companions Rank)?

With the introduction of Ventures, we see that we can choose a class for our retainer, and level them up, will we ever be able to summon our retainers to aid us in combat? instead of our chocobo companion~?

If players can use real money to get more retainers, and therefore more ventures(?) Won't that give them a slight edge akin to Pay To Win? My question is: How are you going to balance ventures? I don't think anyone wants to see ARR head down the P2W line.
