We're pleased to announce the next Letter from the Producer LIVE Part XIII focusing on the many exciting updates coming with Patch 2.2! This next Live Letter will take place on Friday, March 21, 2014, from 2:30 a.m. (PDT) / 9:30 (GMT)!

In this thread we'd like you to specifically pose questions to main scenario writer Kazutoyo Maehiro. In addition to collecting your questions in real-time via Twitter, we will also use this thread to gather your questions ahead of time and answer them during the event.

Hello, Mr. Main Scenario Writer!

I was wondering if the city-state stories from 1.0 will ever be revisited and completed in ARR. I felt like they all ended on pretty huge cliff hangers and the characters such as Fye and Khrimm are quite memorable to me.

Will we ever see him make a re-apperance in A Realm Reborn? and what about the key he steals from Y'shtola during the Limsa 1.0 storyline.

Would it be possible in future installments of story quests to be less errand boy teleporting around and playing delivery boy and more hero? The tendency for the main NPCs to say "Oh, go pick up this small item in City X for me" is rather annoying.

Will the future patches' main story scenes have more voice acting? The main scenario from the playthrough of 2.0-2.1 had little voice acting and the primals as well. It really kills the immersion of the story when certain scenes sometimes do contain the voice acting while others that are most appropriate for voice acting fails to have any. The primals in the past trailers had voice acting, like Ifrit and Garuda speaking in their tone. Yet in 2.0, I fail to hear any indication of that?

Will it be the possible to introduce the cutscenes from 1.0 as an echo vision that is viewable at the inn, with or without unlocking as you complete the main storyline.

Will we ever see major NPCs respecting the naming traditions of various races?

What I mean is that most major NPCs address your character by their first name only. This annoys me at times with certain races, mainly Lalafell Plainsfolk and Roegadyn Hellsguard.

Fun Fact: In everyday speech, Plainsfolk males will usually always use their full names, rarely ever breaking them down into solely first or last.

Hello,
I started FFXIV when 2.0 was released and have enjoyed seeing the story and lore of the realm. However, because I didn't play version 1.0 many parts of the story have gaps and I was wondering if there will be video, book, etc. released to help fill in the gaps of what happen in 1.0 for those of us who were unable to play it? Thank you.

Will grand companies get storylines again soon? The seventh umbral era story was one of the most memorable things in any game I have played, but in ARR the grand companies barely have any meaning, they're just those places in cities where you can go to upgrade to the next rank so you can upgrade to the next rank so you can get two minions and then forget that they exist.

Seeing as all adventurers carry the power of the echo, how possible would it be to somewhere in the future introduce a chain of main quests that allow us to "relive" the v1 storyline? Preferably with the awesome cutscenes they used to have. This is basically what was done in v1 in the first place, most of the story actually happened around fifteen years before the then-current time. While I understand that new content is priority, it would be interesting both for new players and old to see it (again)!
