    Limit Break Effects & functionality

    Are their plans to expand limit break visual and combat effects?
    As a monk, id like to attack with my fists or say a chi blast type attack, not a sword, for example
    also, i feel like arc/brd should have theyre own niche, maybe a supportt/buff effect.

    New Combat Mechanics

    Currently we have the Limit Break and Combo mechanic , Limit Break being a team attack, Combo an individual set of attacks, is their any plans to bring a Skill Chain type of combat mechanic ?

    Any plans to add more flavourful materia to the game? Perhaps some which could be obtained through non-converting means.

    examples: (+ mount speed, +move speed in sanctuaries, +spiritbond, +area damage, + life drain, + GP regen, +food duration)

    Please make gigs/spears available again to Fishers as a offhand equipment, and then allow Disciples of the Land to engage in combat so that they can defend themselves (axe, pickaxe, gig). Also allow them to cross-class actions from DoW and DoM. While they won't have the same combat potency as a DoW or DoM class, at least they can survive in hostile territory if something happens to Stealth.

    This will also have the byproduct of boosting the market for lower-tier materia from field gatherers who would like to augment their gear to give them extra combat capability above their gathering stats.

    The Future of FFXIV: A Realm Reborn

    I always ask a question in these threads, and not once have my question ever been answered... It really saddens me, but here goes.

    I have friends that are leaving the game saying that the way its been created will never be able to past the greatness that was once FFXI. Do you have any plans to introduce polls that will help the community grow, along with the content that we truly want like the polls you once created to get us to where we are today? And, will the first expansion come this year? Will we get activities like Dynamis from FFXI where up to 60 free company members can attack a zone for chances of cursed gear to drop with players needing crafters to finalize that gear?

    I just feel like FFXI is a blueprint on what to do and what not to do... Now I know a lot of decisions have been made for the casual in mind, but are there plans to introduce things you found made FFXI successful with their expansions? I just feel like if we get places like Dynamis, Nyzul Isle, Sky, Sea... Places like these, it does nothing but give the community more options... Is there any hint you can give us about a end game type place like Sky "The Hall of Gods" that we'll be able to work towards access? A lot of members would love places like these, and we see threads about them all the time, but we never hear you guys talk about the future and the chances of these things to become available. I know you have things planned, and certain things were created a certain way for a reason, but I would like to hear about some of the future ideas, and thoughts if you could please. Thank you.

    When the advanced level crafted gear is implemented in 2.2, will my crafter need to increase his overall craftsmanship and control in order to synthesize these new items? If so, how would we achieve this, given that you can only meld so much materia to current crafting gear before hitting a stat cap?

    For PS3 user and in regard to the binding coil of bahamut bronze trophy in Patch 2.2.

    Will the new addition of turns and buffs in the first five turns have any effect on obtaining the trophy?

    I am worried if...

    A. the trophy will no longer be obtainable or force players to beat T5 in the original buff-less state which NO one will ever play, as having 7 people just to play normal T5 has PROVEN much much more difficult than T5 it self!

    B. Need to clear the new turns (6-9) as the trophy description just says "clear the binding coil of bahamut". I really hope that not the case either as some people already got the trophy by just beating T5 would be unfair for new players.

    I really hope just clearing T5 after patch will give the trophy without any complications. and thanks in advance.

    After the 2.2 update, how will the myth tombstones be distributed now that the philosophy tombstones are obsolete? Will the player be rewarded with one hundred myth after a victory over a single four player dungeon? How will you relief the server stress on certain new dungeons when everyone floods it for the myth tombstones? What will happen to the first crystal tower raid rewards with item level 90 myth and allagan gear making the weekly raid reward useless?

    How Many Tomes Per Dungeon?

    Can you please show us how many tomes we will receive in each dungeon, and if this will split the duty finder roulette?
