    Everything i've found wrong with this game so far.

    1: The chat respond command should not send to invisible comments from people on your blacklist.

    2: Your character screen should give you a better indicator of what effect
    your stats have on crit chance/dodge/parry/damage done/ability potency
    from determination or chance to miss a target of your level based on accuracy.

    3: Why doesn't endgame gear have materia slots?

    4: Players should be allowed to use mounts inside city walls.

    5: Players should be allowed to speak to npcs while mounted.

    6: Mounts should move more than just slightly faster than Sprinting speed.

    7: Lancers and dragoons should not be severely relegated to wearing pug/monk/archer/bard gear until their early 40s and unable to roll on numerous pieces of heavy
    armor that their class is listed on as a valid wearer. i see casters have the same issue with dps/healer gear.

    8: Summoner pets need to be able to keep up with mounts or auto-dismissed while mounted and instantly re-summoned upon dismounting

    Unless something's changed in the last patch pets do keep up unless something gets aggroed, at which point they peel off to fight it and de-summon once you get too far away.

    No. Congestion is bad enough at times without adding Behemoth's et al around the market place thanks.

    I'd like to see proof of that. When you get too far, they appear right next to you.

    Most likely you were attacked by a mob and the pet attacked...then you got to far away.

    Yeah, if a mob agroes you with your summon out, the summon will automatically attack the mob, but if you get too far away, the summon will automatically dismiss. They don't dismiss for simply falling behind.

    As for some of your other problems with the game, there are methods in SE's madness:

    Well, endgame gear is supposed to be 'unique', unlike the majority of gear up to that point which is mostly crafted. I would like to see some unique traits on gear though, as long as it didn't lead to a return of gear swapping in mid battle like FFXI had.

    No FF game has allowed you to ride a chocobo/mount inside a city, so this is actually traditional. Each city has their local aethernet for helping get around quickly so being able to ride a mount inside a city would be redundant anyway. Having said that though, in the last few weeks of 1.0's service players were able to ride mounts inside Ul'dah, but that was because of gameplay reasons - Ul'dah was constantly being attacked by high level monsters to help lessen the server load so it's likely all SE did was temporarily recode that section of the zone as an 'outside' area to allow enemies to spawn out in the open there, thus also allowing mounts to be ridden in there too. I doubt SE will ever bring that back though.

    Why? LNCs and DRGS are not tanks, so why should they be able to lot on tank gear which a tank actually needs to do their job? There is also a traditional reason why DRGs cannot wear heavy armour - as it would naturally constrict their jumping ability for obvious reasons.

    though i find most of your points entirely valid, this one is a case of "what works in dungeons, doesn't always work outside of dungeons." as well, there are sets of crafted gear and occasional pieces that alothough they show tankish stats, they list lnc/drg as a class that CAN wear it, but we're unable to roll on it. also, there's no lnc/drg only gear below level 40 and if there is, i've made it to 50 without finding it. they're literally restricted to rolling on bard/monk gear until you hit around level 40 and even then the pieces are sparsely strewn throughout existence till you get your relic armor, so you're stuck with ill-itemized crap for about 90% of the game.

    None of the classes/jobs have class-only gear below level 40.
    Getting stuck with "ill-itemized crap" is pretty much how it is until you get to endgame at 50, complete your artifacts, move on to DL and/or CT, and so on until you get to i90.

    Yes they can. I have this issue with my fairies quite often, and it isn't because they stop to attack a mob that aggro'd because 1. fairies don't attack. 2. mine are always on obey. 3. It happens in areas where things don't aggro me.


    As for the rest of the OP.

    1. Why? You blacklisted them, why are you even talking to them?

    2. Not really an issue, you can figure it out well enough

    3. I kind of agree end game ear should have materia slots, it kind of puts a damper on the whole materia market and honestly I've never even bothered to mess with materia because of this save for crafting and gathering. Mainly the materia system could be expanded and more dynamic than it is, rather than use it to bump stats why don't they give effects or extra abiltites instead. But whatever.

    4. Players don't need to be able to use mounts in the city, it's stupid and it causes problems.

    5 & 6. I wholeheartedly agree.

    7. Dragoons have gear slotted more specifically for their group (heavy armored: i.e. mrd, gld, drg) post level 10, it's sparse and doesn't really pick up until your late 20's 30's, but it's better than nothing. there is also some items post 10 that drg, mrd, and gld can wear.

    if your argument is lancer should be tanks, I agree they should.

    8. Usually summoner pet issues are because of aggro, scholar pets on the other hand... It's an easy fix, just system desummon them on mount up and system resummon on dismount. I imagine this is something they'll eventually add as a QoL thing later. Not really game breaking as is.
