Play Button doesn't appear on Launcher

Every time I try to log in to my Final Fantasy XIV game through the launcher, I put in my Square Enix ID, Square Enix password, and one-time password. When I hit the launch button, I'm given a black box with no green Play button. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the game. I've checked my graphic card drivers, and they're the latest. So considering the trouble shooting I've done, I don't understand how to resolve this issue. Has anyone else have this issue ? And if so, how did you resolve it ?
