I think the rain is fine but why i don't see never lightnings and sounds of them in la noscea? I'm unlucky or they are on boat only? It's bad if it's the second one..

Playing the game in 3D the rain actually looks really nice. I can see how in 2D it could be considered lack luster. It is really busy and causes a lot of noise on the screen. In 3D there is a lot of depth and space between the rain that it looks very detailed and pleasant.

I just wish that when I stood under a roof...it would stop raining on me...and just be raining out beyond the edge of the roof.

Rain doesn't bother me much. The only thing that really lags me is the wind, and not by much. Maybe about 5-10 FPS out of an otherwise consistent 60. The wind in this game is beautiful, though.

I always thought the rain looked pretty decent. Definitely the best looking rain in any MMO I've played. I only wish there was some scalability. In Eorzea, if it isn't a torrential downpour, it isn't raining at all.
