Hypothetical question


You can only have one or the other -

1. You have your Chocobo exactly as it is right now. All its features, functions and mechanics are released piece by piece as the development on each of them completes. So this means, right now you have it as a mount and as a combat companion capable of DPS and healing (and a pathetic tank) whilst leveling it up to gain better abilities and stats. Some time in the future, the ability to reset its skills back to zero so that you may choose new ones for a fee. Then even further in the future, the ability to breed them and stable them in your own personal house.


2. Your Chocobo is ONLY a mount and does nothing else. Then at a predetermined time, the entirety of the Chocobo feature list is released all at once. Summoning them as a combat companion to DPS and heal, leveling it up to gain new abilities, resetting them as often as you want for a fee and to breed and stable them at your house. All this is released in one single patch on a single specific date.

Option 1 is by far the better option.

I already have fun using my chocobo despite the limited features that are currently implemented.

Option 3, what our chocobos were supposed to be originally, you could level them as any job, if it were black mage, it could cast black magic, then they realized that they promised more they could deliver, so we got the watered down 3 spec tree we have now.
