    Is nobody excited for the Ifrit battle?

    As more and more information has surfaced about it, be it there isn't that much, there hasn't been very much mention of it from anyone.

    I can honestly say, I hope that this battle isn't just an instanced fight where
    8 people sit there and wack him while he walks around slowly and uses spells so strong
    that it'll kill anyone no matter what.

    I want it to be, where as if he is exactly how he was in the cut scene leading up to him. Very agile, quick, and constantly moving. Now, when I say constantly moving, im not talking about every 15 seconds, that would get old reaaalll quick. Something along the lines of every 3 minutes. It'd be awesome if he 'left' the battle area and sprinted up a mountain and appeared on the opposite/random side and jumped back in with a strong attack.


    So, you could say I just wanted to stir the Ifrit...crap...and see the responses.
    What are your ideas? What do you hope for?

    If we cannot summon them (or at least for a while)
    then I would definitely be okay with a Besieged type deal with the beast tribes.
    Such as, Ifrit and Amalj'aa attempting to attack the surrounding towns of Ul'Dah, Grindania, and Limsa and have to defend them from random attacks.

    That's be a good chunk of content.

    Would also encourage players to be away from town, if their was good enough rewards.
    And after each beast race summons their said summon (Amalj'aa -Ifrit, Sahagin - Leviathan, Ixal - Garuda) then they begin their attack on the said towns surrounding the main 3 cities.


    finally give them some kind of use....
    but of course to care about them, they'd have to have some use.
    (guilds, shops, etc.)
