Since we are talking about leveling a Chocobo, relying on doing enough damage to a pink tagged mob is unreliable at best. Therefore it is far better to make sure the enemy health bar and name tag are red to almost guarantee credit for the kill.

Exactly, but that's not the advice you gave at all.

Oh and the enemies health bar and name tag MUST be red. If it is pink, that is not tagged as yours and you will gain nothing from it. And neither will your pet.

This was flat out wrong, and you're spreading false information. I understand you were trying to help, but you aren't empowering anyone by leaving out details and misleading.

Personally if I'm farming a choco spot and my mobs run out because someone else is at the camp I will absolutely try to throw enough damage on the few mobs he is fighting. Not like I have anything else to do while I wait for respawns, and I have a chance at a bit more exp. Completely ignoring this option would limit my exp gain.
