Not exactly 100% exp on each.
First there is a party malus. If you are in a party (with a player or a companion) you get a bit less exp than solo (but the kill speed would be of course faster).
also the player can get some exp bonus the Chocobo can't get.

at most, you'll have 2 full parties of 4 people each (4 people + 4 Chocobos in each party). One party is the "Pull party" and the other is the "Kill Party". The Pull party will have one member round up all the enemies and gather them up at the kill point. This gives the pull party claim on all of the enemies that are going to be killed. Once the enemies are gathered up, the Kill party will AoE the enemies down, while the Pull party does not attack at all. The pull party gets full exp for their chocobos since they had claim on the enemies, thus guaranteeing 100% exp regardless of battle participation. The Kill party gets full exp for their chocobos as the kill party did more than enough damage to the enemies to have their contribution rewarded will full exp. This way, both parties get full exp and everyone wins!
    Exactly.
If you claimed the enemy you get 100% exp and the enemy drop the moment it die.
If you attack an already claimed enemy, you need to do at least 30% of the dmg to get the exp (no enemy drop in this situation).
    This is called kill-sharing.
