The LS im in has a couple of really nice carpenters that push out all our arrows very grateful otherwise id be paying 90-100k stack per silver arrows

Crafting arrow is a pain in the butt. To make Red Coral Arrow by self require at minimum 40 GS 40 Weaver 36 Alc and 45 Carp. Each stack of arrow takes 3 syn and 20k in mats. In addition, Red Coral and Eagle Feather is not exactly flooding the market. So on a good day a carp can find enough mats in market to make 8-12 stack arrow, and pretty much all of them goes to LS for NM use anyway (I make arrow for 6 archer in LS, 2 stack each for NM run cleans me out right away), it just doesn't make sense selling one stack of red coral arrow for less than 100k. I personally had never sold any arrow because I can make more gil with way less effort with other stuff, and I could barely (or rarely) keep LS stocked as is.

Silver arrow has it's own problem: horn glue is rarely available, and way over priced (10k a pop!) unless you farm your own. Also the profit is just not there, why would anyone stock up a maid with 10 stack silver arrow while praying to get total of maybe 200k (assuming 50k per stack) profit in a week's time?

So as long as equipment are still profitable I don't see arrow price coming down (it will be different when nothing else is profitable like in FFXI). It is much easier to have carp buddy who can hook you up, since people are much more willing to make stuff if they know there is demand beforehand.

people on rabanastre price red coral stack at 100K. don't know if they even sell at all... but that is what the search thing lists them as

lol ya man, I just use those rank 1 arrows to level up. Expensive arrows, I'll be saving for NMs...

On FFXI the best deal was to craft your own ammo, sell 50%(or 25%) and use the others 50%(or 75%) and your money never drop down (it goes up sometime ^^).

Yeah just craft your own, I have a weaver friend who makes fletching and he is also a goldsmith in order to level his goldsmithing I give him Corals that aren't the ones i need for my bow making. I never feel arrow strain, don't be lazy every archer needs to be a carpenter, really who else is going to repair your bow or make arrows for you.

I did an excel work for arrows prices, i gathered price from bazaar in the market ward and i found the Glu was the most overpriced item in sale (almost 90% of the arrows cost) everything else was cheap or free (you can easily gather craft items).

Only HQ arrows will grant a good benefit.

Ifyou have any intrest in crafting crp will benfit you alot or hopfully you have a friend that will do them for free for you, ive been amking them for myself anf friends and selling them for about 60k on lindblum, doesnt seem to many peeps doing it so ive been able to keep it resonable enough, still a steady enough income for myself without feeling too greddy and evil, Luckly i had a goldsmith and weaver in my Linkshell.
The money you make compared to the cost of crafting arrows is fairly high its hard to go wrong with doing it, since i make them for myself im not sure how others feel about it too much, feel sorry if your servers is overpriced.~

back in the day when no one was making arrows, i sold blue at 200g each and red at 300g each lol.
