While I disagree that the game isn't fun, I do agree with some of your points. However, if you are to compare XIV to XI then you can't expect a game thats been out for 6 months to compare to a game with many years of development. Almost all of those end game events weren't even out by the first expansion. Pre-Zilart was a game where you leveled and that was basically it. The Japanese complained that there was "nothing to do" at level 50 other than "just level something else" (sound familiar?). I'm not really a huge fan of gear grinding dungeons until the next patch either, but I think we got a lot more content then we realize for a brand new MMO. For what's in this game at the moment, I think it's a lot of fun and attracting a lot more attention than most brand new MMO's.

I hate the line "if you don't like it, then leave", but you should wait until the first expansion before complaining so heavily about everything. This game is being written off way to quickly for it's content, and not just endgame, but everything between that "hooks you in". All the basics are in place, give them time to fill in the rest.
