Lightning Returns/FFXIV Easter Eggs *SPOILERS*

I picked up the "Miqo'te Garb" and it triggered a little discussion between Lightning and Hope about the distant land of Eorzea. Hope tells her some minor history, then Lightning mentioned how she hopes to go there some day.

I don't know, I just find things like that neat! Anyone find anything else?

Good to know! I never finished the third one in my first play through but I'll be sure to do it in my NG+.

Haven't played it yet . Odd that they picked that for the story since according to xiv's story she came here first (and got the clothes from that)

But in the story, at the end, she says she probably won't remember it, and that if she didn't have to do what she does, this would be a nice place to live. So essentially letting you know "she will never remember being in Eorzea" so....when Hope tells her about it (hope wouldn't know she was there, he only knows what Bhu [my nickname for him] knows), and she says "wish i could go there" or w/e its actually a shout out to people who played both games and realize she's been here, but wouldn't remember.

It should also be noted Hope's 'history' of Eorzea is completely wrong - the way he mentions it, to them Eorzea is nothing but a fairy tale land and miqo'te a fictitious species, like FFXIII Carbuncles (hence why the miqo'te outfit is given away as a prize in a competition of sorts).

Still, Light's embarrassment at saying that silly line to get the miqo'te costume ("meowmeowchocochow!"), and Hope's amusement at it made me chuckle. Also when the set is equipped if you complete a battle with Light wearing the miqo'te gear the victory music changes to the FFXIV ARR Victory Fanfare when you complete a dungeon which I thought was a nice touch (not to mention her victory 'pose' with that outfit is literally the miqote /pose emote from FFXIV ).

When she's wearing it she also makes thinly veiled references to FFXIV as well, even if they're not always obvious ("Wish I'd bought my bow", "Let's make this an adventure" etc).
