How to party leader switch or add new member - PS3?

I was auto leader in a party where the healer left. I tried everything to switch leadership to another party member but nothing would work. Tried slash commands. Tried right clicking their name in line up and in party social. No menu to switch leader appears. How am I suppose to find and add a new healer our level? I don't seem to be able to use social people search while in a party either.

If you was in a Duty (dungeon or battle) you cannot sue those things however in a Dungeon it should have asked you if you wanted the Duty finder wanted you too find a new player, just click yes. It might say find replacement I am not sure. if in a Primal Fight you can not replace a player that left duty or party.. only way at that point is for all players too leave the duty and requeue

Yes in dungeons specifically in the duty finder, there should be an option to replenish ranks.

You can replenish ranks for primal fights now, actually. Ever since 2.1 I believe.

To JemC: You can kick the person that DC'd from the group if they have been gone for too long by right clicking on their name in the Party List in the social menu and choosing to Vote Kick. There should be no issue in getting at least 1 person to agree if your 4th member has been gone a while. After they are removed from the group you should get a pop up asking if you want to replenish ranks. If it doesn't show up or you accidentally close it, open the duty finder menu and there should be a "Replenish Ranks" button.

The only time you can't add members in the middle of a duty is if you queued up as a full party together.
