    Sleep reseting in dungeons

I dunno what's it called officially but i just call it sleep reseting.
I'm pretty sure others like myself found out that you can skip mobs by aggroing them and pulling them back far away from their initial patrol area, you can then sleep them and run far away or past their initial point which will then cause them to lose aggro on you/ breaking their leash and making them return to their initial patrol area again. It's really helpful like in WP when the tank grabs the sleep able targets and drag them back while the blm sleep nukes the mobs and everyone then sprints forward towards the goal.

The mobs do not break aggro because they got slept. They break aggro cause you enter a boss room. After 15 minutes, there's a lock-out so characters cannot go in or out. Already known months ago. This is what sleep-mobs WP speed run is based on.

This is nothing new. And like the above replier said, you sleep the mobs so that you can enter the boss fight, and by the time they wake up they are locked out. People have been doing this since shortly after launch.

No lol you can sleep mobs anywhere in the dungeon ( doesn't need a lock out boss barrier )
Once they r asleep just run a certain distance away from them and it'll cause their aggro leash to break.
Similar to the big hecta guy in Copperbell Hm ( the 1st after u go down the 1st elevator at the entrance ), if u run right past him he'll drop aggro for some reason and just continue patrolling.

Some mobs have a perimeter that they stay in, others will chase you through an entire dungeon to kill you once you aggro. The ones that have a patrol area return to that zone once you get far enough away, the others do not. I had a Healer in a bad Aurum Vale run a few nights ago that chased some Diremites all the way from the final Morbol pit before the boss to the main room that you first enter upon starting the dungeon. After the Diremites caught up to her and killed her, they proceeded to go after other people.

If you pull mobs with the string of aggro attached to another, they will all go after you. If you pull mobs that do not have strings, for example succubus in AK, you can pull a single mobs from the pack safely.

No but u can still seperate stringed mobs by getting out of their perimeter. U sleep two, and pull other i.e a tonberry is pulled while u sleep the two cog oil slugs. U'll break the cog oil slug's aggro but you'll keep the tonberry's aggro cuz ur still in it's perimeter. The only reason y they seem to follow u everywhere is cuz as long as they follow u they'll be near u thus not allowing u to get out of the said distance.

Also the only reason why the diremites would ever kill the other people because
    1) they are too close to the returning mobs.
    2) if u poke or heal anyone who is being chased you'll be next in line to get aggro'd after said person dies or uses return etc.
Those are actually the only reason y mobs would chase others.
Also all generic and non specified mobs will all have a perimeter.
( excluding the spriggians, quarn faces, etc just normal trash)
