SE could do it themselves...probably far far too much to ask though lol Seems when SE does translate stuff from the JP side, although correct, usually hours if not days late. Otherwise they don't seem to bother translating every single post like Rein does.

SE has to keep up some level of quality. Rein doesn't. He simply gets the translations out as fast as possible. And that's cool with me, but not cool if SE did it.

We still get the important posts translated, but not the "I played some Street Fighter 4 today www" fluff.

SE is lucky FFXIV doesn't have to be a real market economy, even with the changes outlined in suffers from a few market failures. The biggest one being asymmetrical information, but this one is just due to laziness on the buyers part, so he/she would never know what it cost to make since they don't craft and don't look it up. Its ok though its an mmo market, not a real one! But thanks for the translation again, I feel like i must stop by once a week and tell you how awesome you are for this!

I'll start translating again from tomorrow, babies safely back home he finally got to see his older brother after 1 month

気になるチョコボの速度についてですが、PCより速いのは当然として、
レンタルチョコボとマイチョコボでは、マイチョコボの方が速くなっています。
This is regarding chocobo's speed everyone is wondering, we all know it's going to be faster than the PC, but between My Chocobo and Rental Chocobo; My Chocobo will be faster than the Rental Chocobo.

実際どのくらいだよ！と気になるところだと思います。

技術的には15fps自体を実装することは可能です。
Technically it's possible to implement 15fps

ただし、まずはパッチ1.19にて30fpsをお試しいただければと思います。
However, first we would like for you to try the 30fps in patch 1.19.

PCの環境は人それぞれ違いますので、フィードバックをいただきながら、
その上で、15fpsの実装検討を含め、快適な動作のために対応は継続して行っていきます。
PC's environment varies depending on the person, therefore we would like to receive feedbacks first then on top of that be able to look into releasing 15fps and continue to make other changes which may ease (make it more enjoyable) the play.

That one is regarding job positions available for FFXIV they didn't have a page for FFXIV staff job openings so although Yoshida has a plan to make renewal to that page with his message he asked the company's other division to have that page made with current job openings. I posted little bit in there after YoshiP posted that from the hospital and he responded to me, was happy to see it just few minutes ago lol (just turned on the PC when I started translating and didn't get through all the dev posts)

Even if I can't get in SE directly his comment made me happy

This one is regarding optimum level colors coming up with the UI change, JP people has both sides; people that likes it and people that don't like it at all. Here's YoshiP's response to Syn's comment.

YoshiP seems to know many MMO's so I believe he is saying he will implement this because it should be a feature that is a standard in a MMO

そうですね、グローバルに展開しているMO/MMOでは共通言語くらいメジャーな仕様です。
他のゲームから乗り換えて頂いた際に「わかりやすさ」の面で、とても有効です。
例えばFPSのインターフェースが、すべて共通であるのと同じくらい、
グローバルでは普通の仕様だと思います。
Yes that is correct, for MO/MMO which are released globally this is a major feature just like having similar terms. When moving from another game it will be very useful for those people being able to understand it. For example, this is same as how FPS games interface are all similar, in a global environment it's something natural.

カラーの混在ですが、実機確認して吉田は気に入っていますが、
皆さんも1.19で実際に確認して頂き、その上でどうしても気になるようであれば、
フィードバック頂けたらと思います
Regarding this color variations, personally I tried it myself and I like it, therefore if you all can first try it out in 1.19 and after that if it still concerns you if you could please give a feedback would appreciate it
