Okay dude, relax. People had reason to question it. He said that before the release of the release of the video so their concern was justified.
But I think I hear the translation-only-post police coming, so we should be on our way.
Calm down. But he actualy said "post beta test", well according to Reinheart.
Want to delete your current char and start a new one? Go right ahead!
I don't have the guts to delete my Reinheart... even if I know it's safe and OK... lol
Good evening,
Yes, you can delete the character that got the final save and create a new character. Of course the data wont be saved but it is possible to play with the character you made until end of current version.
Also even if you delete the character which data was saved at the last save maintenance at the timing of ARR launch that data will be recovered and can be carried over.
Some still wondering about linkshell forum on The Lodestone
Good evening,
Let me comment on this one again,
For those members that joined the LS from 11/1 to end of current version
Until the end of current version
- How much of the LS forum can they utilize?
- Will the LS posession be carried over into ARR?
After the final save maintenance even if they join the linkshell it will not reflect ARR FFXIV or current version The Lodestone. For that reason they will only be able to view those linkshell forum which are public, at the time of ARR launch they will start without the linkshell.
Oh yeah btw, where is good place to do 'free' live transcripts aside from google docs if any??
Just curious... dunno if I can be up for the next live but gonna try again... need to get used to translating faster or someone go in SE's office and turn off their device every now and then so I have enough time to translate before they keep on going and going lol.
I think you typing in Google docs is about as "live" as you can get, seeing as people can watch you type as you do it. I don't know if there's something similar that's laid out better or anything. The reps use twitter to update, but even then you're not really seeing that in real time, and sometimes the wording between what you do and what they do is a little different. (i.e. you seem to do a literal translation whereas their translation seems to summarize and get the general point across)
Besides starting up a chat room (which without setting chat permission up first would be messy) I think google docs is your best bet.
And if you're not available at the live time someone could always download the stream and send it to you for translation later(We needs you!!!)
I dont want to wait two weeks for SE to translate it XD lol
