Not going to translate the entire post YoshiP posted since it's towards those complaining why YoshiP posted delay info on cheer YoshiP thread (people still posted complaints after on that thread that made the feeling of the thread uneasy when it should be thread on cheering him and dev team members...) Anyways one important info on the last last part so going to take that part only for this one.

This thread is talking about asian style armors/weapons in FFXIV and Triairy responded with the following.

将来的に、もしそれらしいジョブが実装されることになったら、
そのジョブにまつわる和装備（日本刀や甲冑などなど）はもちろん実装します。
ただ実装されるとしてもだいぶ先のことになってしまうと思いますので、
首をながーくしてお待ちいただければ幸いです。
In future if there is a job that is like that (Asian) we will definitely implement Asian equipment (such as Japanese Katana or Armor) however please note that even if we are going to implement it's going to be some time ahead so would appreciate if you can just sit tight and wait for this one.

今年の夏の季節イベントでは、浴衣が手に入る予定です！
