I wonder if we will be able to repair rings through NPC finally...
As someone who hates the current repair system I feel like I can live with the changes outlined in that post. IMO dying is a penalty enough because you didn't accomplish whatever you were trying to, but those changes will make it just a slap in the hands and I am willing to compromise to the point where I don't have to teleport to town and wait until I get repaired.
Bottomline: Don't rock the boat please!![]()

With this they make the death penalty weak again.
I hope they rework the penalty a bit to make it strong again
We need some of our other JP translators to step in when Rein is out taking care of business! Curious to know what Yoshi-p had to say. Help a brotha out...
I don't get this obsession with wanting a stiff penalty for death.
If the game is to be largely based on instanced content, as YP has said it will be, then death results in a large chunk of time lost.
If you wipe, you lose. That's it. Why does there need to be some additional salt in the wound on top of it?
These changes are great because the NPCs can make items functional, but only a crafter can make it sell-able. This is miles better for a wider audience than the system we had a year ago where most of your equipment would be useless after an hour of play.
SE could do it themselves...probably far far too much to ask though lol Seems when SE does translate stuff from the JP side, although correct, usually hours if not days late. Otherwise they don't seem to bother translating every single post like Rein does.
