Here's the full translation on the linkshell switch macro & key assigning

Hello,

LSの切り替えについて、進展がありましたので報告いたします。
Got some update on LS switching so would like to share with you all,

パッチ1.22で、テキストコマンド「/equiplinkshell(/el)」が追加されます。
サブコマンドで1～8の番号を指定する、またはリンクシェル名（スペースが入っているLS名はダブルクオーテーション「"」で括る必要があります）を入力し、実行することでカレントリンクシェルを切り替えることができるようになります。
In patch 1.22 we are adding a macro command /equiplinkshell (/el)
By assigning a sub-command (#1-8) or with Linkshell Name (If there is space in the name must put it in quotation ") and by executing the command you will be able to switch the current linkshell to that linkshell you want to switch to.

また「メインメニュー」→「コンフィグ」→「キーボード」の「その他」タブに以下の項目が追加され、好きなキーに配置することができるようになります。
Also in Main Menu > Config > Keyboard > Other tab we are adding the following category and you can assign any key as well

• 次のリンクシェルにカレント切り替え Switch to next linkshell
• リンクシェル1にカレント切り替え Switch to linkshell 1
• リンクシェル2にカレント切り替え Switch to linkshell 2
• リンクシェル3にカレント切り替え Switch to linkshell 3
• リンクシェル4にカレント切り替え Switch to linkshell 4
• リンクシェル5にカレント切り替え Switch to linkshell 5
• リンクシェル6にカレント切り替え Switch to linkshell 6
• リンクシェル7にカレント切り替え Switch to linkshell 7
• リンクシェル8にカレント切り替え Switch to linkshell 8
• カレントリンクシェル解除 Remove current linkshell

I just hope it works during crafting knowing it's a macro though... probably wont be possible during crafting.

Yea... even using the text commands directly in chat doesn't work during crafting. It's a bummer, but at least we can make macros to switch linkshells on the fly now instead of going through that god-forsaken menu.

JP side also concerned about this, pretty sure if the devs actually played the game with other real players this is situation you meet almost daily so hope they had that in mind and making it possible to switch while you're crafting/gathering

2.0 UI will allow us to display more than 2 windows at the same time so i'm sure that we could use macros while crafting

1.0 limitations, will be in 2.0 again... nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

but most likely you're right on this one, at least this feature is better than opening main menu and going through the steps so it does help

The fact you don't even have to make macros is great, I will be assigning Shift+1,2,3,4 to my linkshells

Edit:- No I won;t seems you can assign that combination

can do CTRL or ALT with F keys right? like ALT+F4 (too bad it don't close the game... I think...lol)

Shift+F1 works
