Yeah I know that but same time gotta remember they promised patch every month(initially) I know how hard it is for the patches but on Producer Letter 10 most of the stuff listed in there was due by end of summer which YoshiP said in interview that being by Sept 30th.
That's true, haha. If they can stick with their original goal of one big patch a month, we could still see 1.20 by the end of September.![]()

(Basically saying there is loading now when changing region, event, going in instances, title screen and it's not era of PS1 so add some effect or movie to replace the old school "Now Loading" message)
Why don't they ever talk about what is going on with the server... orz皆さん、こんばんは。
Hello Everyone,
Talked to the dev team regarding adding tips or images during the loading screen. If we add the tips or pictures with the current system when it reads the data it will cause the loading to be longer. As previously stated with the server repairs the loading time should be shortened and at that timing will look into adding things like Tips.
Oh well I'm not in the mood right now... I'll be back if there is any new JP rep posts... or when i feel better /sigh
Thanks for the Translation again and I hope you will feel better![]()
hmm i thought Loading screen usually are client side.. like Ragnarok Online :3 i modified all loading background with my own background ^_^
S-Orat started a thread with AA being implemented in FFXIV if the "Guard" skill using your shield will be removed since if it becomes auto guard it will give too much power for the tanks. Here's the response:

皆さん、こんばんは。
Good Evening Everyone, (Minasan, Konbannwa - for those that want to learn)
オートアタック導入に伴い盾を構える動作は消えてしまうのか、変更されてしまうのかという件について開発チームと確認をしたところ、オートアタックが導入されても盾を構える動作については現在までと変更はないとのことでした。
Checked with the dev team if the guard skill for the shield will be gone after auto attack is implemented. Guard skill using shield will remain as is even after the auto attack is implemented.
I guess that is a little surprising because, why wouldn't you want to guard I guess if you could? But then, I guess THMs might not want to always be guarding...Question, while in guard do you move slower? Perhaps that is a limitation they didn't want to force (by making guard always active on those classes that can). Be interesting if they just created offensive, balanced, or defensive stances and those who could use guard would get a boost when in defensive stances but take offensive capability reductions, etc. Thoughts?S-Orat started a thread with AA being implemented in FFXIV if the "Guard" skill using your shield will be removed since if it becomes auto guard it will give too much power for the tanks. Realistically... without the stamina system, there's no particular reason you wouldn't want to guard if you could.I guess that is a little surprising because, why wouldn't you want to guard I guess if you could? Then again, with the way Guard is implemented, making it automatic would be an insanely powerful defensive buff for all classes equipping 1 handed weapons.
I imagine they decided, at least for now, it was easier to leave Guard manually triggered, rather than recode how the shield system works and re-balance the defensive advantages to avoid making certain classes too durable (mages especially).
