And ninjas!
And if that's the case, here's a video of a lot of weird people
I wish they'd done a live show in england, and that I could afford to go ; ;

Make it happen.
You guys Kenichi Iwao did not write the story or lore, that is Yaeko Sato, Scenario. In Iwao's own words: "I make the drafts for the characters, equipment, areas and setting and come up with names. I am in charge of items, guildleves, and other things and their circulation in the game, along with crafting and shops and a lot of other things… quite a wider range than in FFXI."
Well... if that is the case I'm not as sad he is gone. I'm not happy the guy lost his job, but I think many of those things were not among XIV's best features.You guys Kenichi Iwao did not write the story or lore, that is Yaeko Sato, Scenario. I'm sure he influenced everything and he appeared to be quite knowledgeable about the scenario but that didn't sound like his main job. I would be devastated if Yaeko Sato left though! I <3 the lore of this game. It's truly unique. I hope he doesn't leave because the story progress has stalled out.
The Ifrit video looks like it is a continuation of the story to me.I'm sure he influenced everything and he appeared to be quite knowledgeable about the scenario but that didn't sound like his main job. That's good to hear, because even though inconsistency in item art can make the world feel disconnected it's not as important as lore and setting consistency. IMO anyways.You guys Kenichi Iwao did not write the story or lore, that is Yaeko Sato, Scenario. I feel sorry for Sato though. Having to make up lore that didn't originally belong in the game must be a hard task.
You think there's no way to learn it in England?
Apart from self study either through book or the internet, a lot of places run Japanese language courses. I wanted to study Japanese for a long time but also assumed there was nowhere to do it here. It was only 3 years ago that I learned about a Japanese class being run 10 minutes from my house that had been going for quite some time.
In addition to this, several major cities also have an Anglo-Japanese society where you can meet Japanese people and practice conversing in Japanese.
