Who ever is taking over is just gonna pick up prolly because its a 200 man team and 1 person leaving will not mess the game up. people leave all the time. it happens every game.Probably whoever take over will do a good job but FYI if you don't know who he is.

This will be my last post since this thready isn't really the place for discussion. Maybe I did come across too strong. I wasn't implying that there would be a sudden drastic or instantly noticeable change. My point is that it will have an effect on the game in the long run. That effect may not be apparent for another few months, to even a year, but it will be there. Maybe whoever replaces him will be more creative and brilliant with his designs, and craft a world that feels 10x more alive and unique than the current one. I have no way of knowing either way. At this point we can only have faith in the team.you even no for a fact nothing will change. Why even try to think this is important? In fact in this very game the main guy was taken out and we still are getting updates (and the game is looking better then ever) i bet 1.19 comes out in tuesday and all the other updates will come as well.
ARC will still have a harp (i made a funny) and jobs will role out without a hitch.
the main guys for the biggest game ever COD left and guess what? the game sold more and more each year. This will mean ZERO to each and everyone of us thats a fact.
You are getting all crazy about nothing. You will notice nothing that is a fact.
well if you notice anything make sure you let me know. This will be my last post since this thready isn't really the place for discussion. Maybe I did come across too strong. I shouldn't of posted it was off topic from this thread my bad.
I like to follow closely on key game programmer/designers and sometimes it does make a big difference with 1 key person in/out just hoping no chain reaction from this.
Anyways back onto the topic for translation![]()
I checked the JP bookstore in Mitsuwa market here yesterday but they didn't have the magazine yet, got 2 other stores but one is bit of a drive just to buy one magazine, and other store is small and they usually don't have much gaming magazine stuff in there.
I'm gonna be honest with you Rein, I am so jealous of you being able to read and understand Japanese, I wish I lived in a country where I could learn it ; ;I shouldn't of posted it was off topic from this thread my bad.

Awesome job with the translations though, it's the generous and positive thinking people like you that keep my faith in humanity alive. Thanks ^.^
And would you say the guy had been doing a good job up until now?People who are 6th on the list of a game's credits don't leave all the time.
And the truth is that programmers/engineers are replaceable, but creative members of a team are not. If you replaced Uematsu, the music of the game wouldn't just be made by a different person, it would be completely different. If you replaced Yoshida (the other one) the game's characters would begin to look different over time. The World Planner is a big deal for the feel of the game going forward.
Don't forget the giant outpouring of people demanding the world be redesigned.
Is the story really that engaging? Memorable characters?
Is this guy leaving SE really going to be such a blow to this game's future?
This game has a fantastic setting, and a huge background which isn't used properly. But that's not his fault.
The story's premise is interesting and actually unique. The way it's set up leaves room for a lot of twists and revelations in the future. Lot of interesting characters have been introduced.
Now someone else is going to take over, look at the previous work, and build the rest of the game in a direction of his own. For one, he may not be as talented as the original world designer was, and secondly he will have a different take on the game's lore and story for sure. Inconsistencies with the original design will follow, at the very least.
Especially if he is pressured by the developers to make up bullshit to justify gameplay features that's going to be a huge challenge, as to not make it seem like it has been patched together at the last minute to give purpose to the gameplay feature that doesn't really fit the world in the first place.
No the answer is no but its not the right thread for it. i give up. i do not wonna dereail this awesome thread so lets leave it at when we notice something get back to me.And would you say the guy had been doing a good job up until now?
