    The problem with this concept is the lore behind conjurers. Here is a quote from Zam about Conjurer's guild

    "The arms of the conjurers are gifts from the bosom of nature, and they enable us to enact her will by imbuing us with her power. The spells of our order require a soul to be cast upon, but exert their influence on those in the immediate vicinity as well. That is to say, we thrive when our enemies and allies are numerous and nearby. We command the six elements to enhance our friends' strengths, as well―another gift for which we are oft sought out. The manipulation of natural forces taxes the mind. We have our own techniques for refreshing ourselves, and aetheryte is available to us as well, but you must know your mind's limitations."
    Personally I don't care if CON or THM lead to WHM, but I have been struggling with this ever since the jobs were announced. If CON lose their nukes, it will contradict the lore but if they become WHM which is likely it doesn't make much sense for the WHM to have the nukes. Not sure which way they will go.

    As part of WHM job lore, the conjurer is forced to give up harmful magics in order align himself with the Astral conscience.

    Well, they have mentioned that playing the role of a job may cause some abilities to become unusable until you switch back to being the originating class. So, it's completely possible that the storyline for CON > WHM will be "you have MP, stand in back and cast cure."

    Actually it was losing ability to cross-class skills from other classes. Native class skills should still be intact, unless that ends up being some ninja edit.

    They said that the job would affect your stats though, such as Glad > PLD totally tanking your attack to give you awesome defense. WHM would probably neuter your Magic Potency. It's not used in cure calculations right?

    On jobs you will lose certain class skills. They will most likely lose DD skills in favor of skills that help better heal and protect the party, making that job more efficient in a party situation.

    Ps, I wouldn't call any conjuror spell a nuke, lol.

    And for lore, every class will have new lore to intertwine with the existing lore. Lol at glad and palidinfor instance. The only similar thong is they both use a sword.

    Don't see why they wouldn't switch Cure base spells to THM and Sacrifice to CON, keep nukes where they are and call it a day. Lore untouched.
