This one is regarding the opening movie they released.
Some on the JP forums, including myself. Loved the SE's usual high quality movie and all that, but at same time we felt that if a new player playing XIV watched that movie without knowing what happened before, it's just going to confuse them... why Bahamut and Odin already from beginning!? Why is there a war? Why did those guys suddenly get teleported??? Why do they look so happy when they were at war right before?

今公開しているオープニングって、βテスト用、新生移行説明用のオープニングムービーと思ってました。
もしかして新生正式サービスのオープニングもあれのままなんですかね。

完全新規で入ってくるプレイヤーには意味が分からないものなので、
別にもう１本作っていると・・・まあ信じたいとこですが
The opening movie that's released right now I believe is for beta test or for those transitioning into ARR, this one shows the meaning. Or is the official ARR opening going to be just like this.
For bran new players that is going to come in, this will be very confusing and I just want to hope they are making one more movie.

Yes. For new players we are preparing another edited version.
Once released, it may be fun to compare which parts are different.
