This is off the JP twitter but since the date given in it seems abnormally close I didn't want to go with google translate for confirmation. So if someone would be so kind to confirm the meaning of the following:

Seriously though, Reinheart, I think you've got what it takes. Even if your English might be lacking in colloquial phrases, you should apply if you want the job.

So, where exactly is El Segundo anyway? Is this a place, or is this a freelance job, work at home style?

It's right by Los Angeles Int'l Airport, and answering your question, it's most likely working in the office.

Anyways will put this thread back on track with translations - sorry for going off topic.

Nope, apparently the invitiations were sent out on the 3rd as per FFXIV_JP account on twitter, and we have confirmation from others statinig that their friends received the invitations for alpha. This quote above was posted after that twitter post and as Rane and I translated on the other thread, the devs are saying "It will depend on the rate of simulataneous connections but we are planning on increase the alpha testers on 12/5 (JST)"

They have been posting the tweets on the invitations being sent out around midnight to 1AM (PST), so maybe it will happen around the same time.

I guess it's not a huge spoiler... but if you look at it carefully there are many parts that resemble similarities.
