今回の2012/11/11の最終決戦、プロデューサーレターLIVEでも言及させて頂きましたが、
現行サーバの限界まで、スタッフ一丸となって対応に当たった結果ではありますが、
最後の最後まで、ご迷惑をおかけして本当に申し訳ありませんでした。
We have mentioned on the producer letter LIVE but for the final battle on 11/11/2012 was a result of the entire staff working on the max limit on the current version server and till the end I apologize for the inconveniences.

時代の終焉トレーラーの公開方法は、あらゆるリスクと技術的検証を行った上で、
今回の公開方法が最も公平で、同時視聴が可能と判断しました。
例えば起動時のラウンチャーで表示することも検討はしましたが、
ラウンチャー上で動画を公開しようにも、URLを抜かれれば結果は同じこととなり、
すべて検討し尽くした結果ではありますので、ご了承頂ければと思います。
Regarding the release of the End of Era trailer, after checking different risks and tech we decided to go with this method as it's was the most fair. Please understand taht we also looked into methods like having option to view it from the launcher, but even if we tried that method if someone can get hold of the URL within the launcher it will end up with the same result (video leaked) so the decision we made was after looking through all available possibilities.

この2年、サーバ関連では、プレイヤーの皆様にご迷惑をかけっぱなしとなり、
最後まで根本的な解消ができず、ただただ申し訳なく思います。
その分だけ新生FFXIVのサーバの安定性、効率性には慎重に負荷検証を行い、
万全を期して、皆さんのプレイを支えさせて頂きますので、よろしくお願い致します。
重ねて最終決戦時の混乱、お詫び申し上げます。
I apologize for all the inconveniences the server related issue caused to all the players this past 2 years and not being able to resolve this issue till the end. We will work much harder on ARR FFXIV's server's stabiility, efficiancy and do careful testing to support everyone play. Again I apologize for the confusion caused at the timing of the final battle.

Getting spammed with work stuff in RL so I'll take care of those and come back translating sry.
