Also for the current version it’s finally near grand finale, you will see a last that you will never see again so please keep a close eye on this one. 3-4 years after FFXIV 2.0 you may feel that you should of taken part in it (laugh) I was there when Ultima Online server finished you can only get that feeling at that time. That kind of feeling will happen in FFXIV. We will put in our full effort for that “thing” so please look forward to that as well.

I think in that last QA he is talking about some grand event a little before the servers go down. I totally need to be there for that, because it's exactly what I've been hoping for. Maybe he'll make Atomos appear all over the place and pop monsters to kill everyone. Maybe the Garleans will finally land their airships and invade. Maybe he'll replace all of the monsters in the outdoor regions with lvl50+ imperials so we fight constantly. Or maybe it will just be a ton of meteors falling in all maps and we'll have to find shelter. I really hope the finale is both epic and completely shocking. The world is ending, and I want to go down fighting.

表示を日本語にもできるオプションをつけるかせめてそのキャラを調べたときは日本語表記の称号が表示されるようにしてほしいです。
Would like to have a option to have the titles displayed in Japanese or at least when checking characters to show the titles shown in Japanese. (I guess when JP players look at NA players with same title some titles have different naming depending on locale setting??)

便乗して質問なのですが、旧14で取れるアチーヴについてくる称号は新生でも取れないんでしょうか？

アチーヴメント「ラノシアの盾」「黒衣森の盾」「ザナラーンの盾」などは、現行版でしか達成できないないため、それらに付随する称号（Shield of La Noscea／Shield of the Shroud／Shield of Thanalan／Shield of Eorzeaなど）も取得できなくなります。
You can only clear achievements for those such as Shield of La Noscea/Shield of the Shroud/Shield of Thanalan/Shield of Eorzea in current version so you won't be able to obtain those.

Regarding the Escutcheon you obtain from achievement.

軍票50万というとかなりの労力と時間が必要とされると思われるのですが
エスカッシャンがその労力に見合った装備とは到底思えません。
I believe the Escutcheon's stats isn't appropriate for the work and time required to get 500,000 CS.

このエスカッシャンがただの記念品で見た目だけの飾りなのか
それとも今後打ち直しで性能強化されるのか、運営から報酬として設定されている意図の説明をお願いします。
Is the Escutcheon just a prize for looks or can it be later upgraded. I would like an explanation for this reward.

軍票を50万稼いだ際に達成できるアチーブメント報酬のエスカッシャンについてですが、
他の方のコメントにもあるように記念品アイテムとして実装されています。
Regarding the achievement rewards Escutcheon you can obtain when you earned 500,000 CS. Like others have already commented this was released as an souvenir.

戦闘に使う「盾」ではなく、コンテストの優勝者に与えられる記念や賞としての「楯」という
扱いになりますので、打ち直し等で性能が強化されるといったことは予定していません。
This shield isn't the type of shield used in battle but more as a shield you win as a prize from contests, therefore we have no plans to have an upgrade for them.

「アチーブメントポイントを利用して何かできるようになるのでは？」という噂が、
チラホラとあるようですが、特にそういった事実はありません。
There are rumors that there may be something you can do with the achievement points. But actually there isn't anything like that.

アチーブメントポイントは、あくまでも達成度合いを示すための指標としてのみ存在しているものですので、そういうものなんだと憶えておいて頂けると助かります。
Please remember achievement points are just for showing how much you have completed.
