Regarding Hamlet Defense - Players saying the points required to rank 2 is way too much.

5/10に公開されたパッチ1.22aより3都市でハムレットが開催されるようになり、この週末のインゲームの状況、皆さんのフィードバックを確認させていただき、備蓄ポイントに関して調整を行います。

After the release of all 3 hamlet on 5/10's 1.22a patch we have checked the in-game status and everyone feedbacks from over the weekend and will make adjustments to the points required.

調整は、近日中に実施予定の1.22a HotFixesにて、備蓄ランク2にするために必要な備蓄ポイントを3分の1以下に引き下げます。
※メンテナンス時間等については、追ってインフォメーションにてお知らせします。
Adjustment will be planned for upcoming 1.22a HotFixes patch. We will lower the required amount of points by 1/3 of current.
*For maintenance time will let you know through information

また調整はこれで終わりではなく、ワールドごとに必要な備蓄ランクを変更することも検討しており、
今後もインゲームの状況、皆さんからのフィードバックを頂きながら調整を行っていきます。
It does not mean the adjustment will be over after this, we are also looking into changing the required points for rank by server. We will make adjustments by checking current in-game situation and everyone's feedback

Personally they basically tested on players again... gotta love SE for doing that since FFXI days... test server is much needed imo... or QA team needs to play more FFXIV to understand what players really feel....

そんなのズレた考えでしか無い。

Don't care about the required amount of points to get to rank 2.

問題なのは、
備蓄が０になって報われないで消えてしまうこと、
納品者が非納品者に対してアドバンテージがない事、
ランカーとランカー以外の納品者では格差があること。（ランカーになれなければ納品しないも一緒となっている）
The problem is, the contributions becomes 0 and you don't get rewarded. There isn't any advantage for those who supplied to those who didn't supply anything, There are difference in those who are in ranking and those who aren't. If you're not listed in the ranker it's same as not doing anything at all

It's fun how even the japanese players see the Top 20 is such an awful way to go about it, if it's not just for it's small loot pool it's also the fact that only 20 people during that 25hr period have a legit reason to want do the hamlet itself. While the idea of setting the ranks by server sounds like a good idea it would be much better if they just eliminate the Top 20, make 100k/200k contribution to be eligible for the 2nd loot but have the 200k grant a high reward rate then 100k. With the current 10mil to reach rank 2 100 players would need to give 100k to reach it or 50 people at 200k each.

With the current system though since only Top 20 get something worthwhile they would all need to give at least 500k points just to reach 2nd rank. <_< I do hope they can adjust this quickly, I didn't really consider that the fact hamlet is so unpopular is because of how left out people can be if they don't reach the Top 20 in terms of reward.

Yes, Reinhart. Do you think you could post this in JP forum ?
I think it should be that if you supply over "xxx" then you will get reward. you shouldn't need to be in-top 20 to get that. Else you should see how much people cry when they failed from top-20 into rank 21 and gain nothing..

People posting same stuff on there already so they know it, they see the NA side forums on the same issue as well.
I like the ranking system but having to be in top 20 to get specials isn't the way to go. So far devs quiet on this issue aside from making it 1/3 the cost to rank 2... which isn't what majority of players are asking.

They're probably thinking of what it will be like a month or two from now, not immediately after release in the rush to do new content.
