宿屋の機能拡張についてご報告です。
Here's an updated to expansion to the Inn system.

パッチ1.22にて以下の2項目が実装される予定です。
These two are planned for 1.22

• 宿屋をデジョン登録先に設定できるようになる
  Be able to set the Inn as the Home Point.
• 部屋の記念品預かり箱（仮）に季節イベントアイテム／アチーブメント報酬／ジョブ専用防具などが預けられるようになる
  Have a box where you store event items, achievement rewards, job specific gear.

また、質問のあったレストボーナスの上限についてですが、約1週間ほどで上限に達するようになっています。
ベッドに寝たいという要望について現時点で良い返答をできないところではあるのですが、何らかのカタチで実現しようと実装方法を検討しています。
Also for the max cap on the rest bonus which some of you asked, the cap is reached in about a week. Also for those asking wanting to lye in the bed, we can't give you a direct answer at this time but we are looking into making this possible somehow.

パッチ1.21aにて、ウルダハの宿屋も再びご利用いただけるようになる見込みです。大変ご不便をおかけしておりますが、もうしばしお待ちください！
In patch 1.21a we are making it so the Ul'dah in can be used again. Sorry for the inconvenience but please wait just a little more!

it may or may not have been crashing parts of the town, and seeing as the town stopped crashing when they disabled it that may have been the case

Some players including me asked on the thread to have a method where issues like this (where Inn is unusable) to show up in the system message instead of making players look for it in the Lodestone.

宿屋の利用制限に加えて、告知でご迷惑をお掛けしました。告知担当と確認しました。以下項目別に書きます。
We apologize for the inconvenience the announcement (not saying how long this Inn issue might take) and the limitation on Inn's usage has caused (can't use Ul'dah Inn). I have checked with staff in charge regarding this.

制限期間の説明について
Regarding the down time's explanation.
緊 急メンテナンスのニュース文中 で「本メンテナンス作業後からしばらくの間」と記述しましたが、確かに不明瞭でした。この時点では調査目的での制限だった為、復旧見込み不明 な状態ではありましたが、不明なら不明と追加情報を出すべきでした。ここは今後改善します。
In the emergency maintenance news we stated "We will take down the Inn for a while" but at this point it was still being investigated and date or reopen was unknown. we should of stated that the date was unknown here to make it clear instead of putting "for a while". Will make it clear in future.

Foxclonから 別スレッドにもコメントがありますが、次回のパッチ1.21aで再開される予 定です。
Like Foxclon commented on the other post we are planning to reopen in the next patch 1.21a.

ニュースの表示順について
The order news is displayed
Lodestoneトップのインフォメーションでは、上位に固定表示するニュースを設定する事があり、最新日付のニュースが最上位でない場合があります。メンテナンス告知した当時も、2件が固定表示でした。また、障害告知は最新の1件のみが表示されます。
5項目の表示枠で複数カテゴリをやりくりする目的で、この様に運用されています。障害告知は複数出る場合が多い為、恐縮ですが一覧表示ページも確認をお願いします。
In the top information of Lodestone there are news which are locked in position (sticky) and not in date order at times. Even when the maintenance information was mentioned there were 2 posts on top that were locked and also bug announcement only shows one article which is the newest. It's possible the bug report can be reported multiple time so we're sorry but would like for you to check the page with the full list as well.


ログインメッセージで注意を促す事ができないか
Can't you add the notice in the login message? (system message after logging in)
機能的には可能です。が、文字数の限界でニュース更新全てをカバーする事はできない為、限られたケースでの使用に留めています。今回の件も含め、頻度と使い方について効果的な運用を検討します。
It is possible technically but we can't cover the entire news due to text size limitation we are only using for specific cases. Along with this issue here, would like to look into better ways to make better use of this.

ニュース件名にNEW!表示ができないか
is it possible to show NEW! next to the news articles?
良いですよね･･･今のところお約束はできないのですが、検討します。
It would be nice huh... I can't promise at this time but will look into this.

You can't do /job and in next line start adding gear equip macro's instead you have to put /wait to make it work.

ユーザーマクロの中でテキストコマンド「/job」を使用すると以降のテキストコマンドが実行されない件ですが、パッチ1.22で対応を行う予定です。
We are planning to address the issue in 1.22 where when you use the text command /job other lines of text command not being executed.

これにより、ユーザーマクロにおいてテキストコマンド「/job」以降のコマンドも実行されるようになります。
With this you would be able to use commands after the /job command.

So we will be able to take the /wait out of our job change macros?

Some nice information there, pretty happy they are allowing us to set an INN as our home point.

About the way they display news, I doubt it would take much time to make a new client/downloader that displays news articles like every other MMO does. (I'm sure they have this planned for 2.0 but it won't hurt to add it now especially as they could reuse something like that)
