    Yea I know that but it still makes no sense, it should work like Buburimu ferry in FF11, run up to the dock talk to NPC buy a ticket and get onboard.

    I'm sure originally we could target the gate at the ferry dock.

    Im guessing they plan to have a fee for using the boat at some point which would explain the addition of the NPC.
