Jinko, it's a pretty well known fact that the majority of people who played through the first 5 months of this game did so mainly on DoL and DoH. It's hard to support what your saying when this game maintained a population without a playable combat system.I was thinking this the other day and [YES PLEASE]
As for people buying this game for DoL and DoH well I think that was a little silly, I really hope they don't pressure Yoshi into changing the game to suit this small niche of players.
I like gathering myself but its unrealistic for them to think the dev team should put time and money into something which isn't going to be very popular in the grand scheme of things.
Im all for making the mini games more interesting and interactive though.
^this x100, he's completely right
I don't see what that has to do with anything, its not like they were paying customers in fact they were the exact opposite. (ie SE were losing money)
Yoshi always says how he appreciates how people have stuck with the game but he probably feels like he has to say this out of politeness or at least thats the impression i get.
You wouldn't be getting all these 'wasted' features that are going to go the way of the dodo after 2.0 if they didn't give a damn. In fact, them keeping the servers up shows that they feel that we are entitled to free service including content patches. Then of course we have people thinking they are entitled to even more than this, like more resources used to handling itemization and new recipes because the fact that dated recipes still exist is so bothersome and annoying and they should do better job at this for their customers.
Oh. Well, I guess that argument can go both ways depending on how you feel about a certain feature.
The citation is having played for those 5 months. Anyone who did, knows.
I personally have not stopped playing since alpha. Despite any and all of the flaws I have always thought this was a great game. Of course I've been playing MMOs so long I expect rocky starts. Clean ones are rare.
