I'm still praying for a forced trip of some sorts, it doesn't even have to be long just...something. Otherwise why not just cut anima cost for town to town to 0 and be done with it and just stop wasting time with airships?

You'd think that having the option of insta or full travel (once they finish it) would stop people from bitching and whining about it...

Do you not agree that airships are just a waste of time considering no one will even apreciate the fact they are in the game as they function the exact same way a allready existing system does.

Changing Anima costs in town to 0-0 from town to town could have saved them a load of time and effort.

That's how I view it. but oh well, its not like it will affect me directly, in fact more power to me and my low Anima reserves.

Except that they are using airships for more than that, so the arrive-depart cutscenes had to be done anyway, no dev work being wasted there.

Why not go with the 0 anima route? I guess traveling by airship is just for some FF flavor, even if it's only a menu and a small cutscene.
