It HAS to be the chocobo tune, every FF game that let's you ride a chocobo has it but they remix it every time. If S.E didn't put in the chocobo theme tune to go with riding a chocobo it'd be the biggest act of commercial suicide in the history of video games! XD

Was referring to the fact that it wasn't for sure going to be used, and alot of people aren't a fan of the track this time around (Yet its my fav^^) :P

I run everything on max and get 60 fps according to Fraps, which runs very smooth, I wonder how much of a visual hit i am going to take with it being moved to 30 fps :/

To clarify what Betelgeuzah eluded to, it is an option you can turn on. So, say you want to limit the draw on your GPU and PSU, you can cap the FPS at 30, if you are comfortable with that (e.g., crafting all day while watching Netflix).

チョコボには街で借りられるレンタルチョコボと、自分で呼び出すことができるマイチョコボの二種類が存在するというのはこれまでにお伝えしてきた通りですが、この動画ではその両方をご覧いただけます。
We have mentioned in the past that there are two types of chocobos; one where you can rent from cities, and another where you can call out. In this video we are showing both.

ちなみに、鞍に各国のマークがついていないのがレンタルチョコボ、ついているのがマイチョコボです。
Also the one with flag is my chocobo and one without is the rental chocobo.

Hello,

人数緩和のみで、内容の緩和の有無が知りたいですね。
Would like to know if the number of required people change is just that and there is no change to the difficulty.

インスタンスレイドの内容や難易度の緩和などは無く、あくまで参加人数制限のみの緩和になります。
For instance raid the difficulty will remain the same, only change is the number of players required has eased.

装備レベルと現在のレベルによって文字が変更になることに関して、
アイテムリストのアイテム名の文字色が変更になるのではなく、
アイテムヘルプの「装備レベル」の表示部分だけになります。
Regarding color of item names to distinguish optimal equipment to your level.
There will be no change in the item list item name color, the color change will only occur in the item help screen where "equipment level" is displayed.

アイテムリスト上のアイテム名の色はアイテムの入手難度によってのみ変わります。
The item name in the item list will only change depending the items rarity.

2 posts from YoshiP regarding the chocobo video that was posted earlier, I'll stick these two in same post since it's related and small posts.

今回の動画のBGMは「レンタルチョコボBGM」です。
マイチョコボには「マイチョコボBGM」が…。
そのマイチョコボBGMはパッチ1.19後に皆さんの耳でお確かめください！

The BGM used in the video this time is the "Rental Chocobo BGM", my chocobo will have it's own "My Chocobo BCM"....
I personally like it ^^

移動速度は吉田がアレコレ言うよりも、
乗って体感して頂く方が良いかと思います

first would like you to actually ride and try it out

騎乗中のキャラの揺れ具合だけ、まだ絶賛調整中です。
「酔う」というQA意見もあって、ギリギリまで調整しています。

We are still making adjustments to the character shaking while riding, we received comments from QA that they get dizzy (3d sickness) so we are making adjustments till last minute. So if you could just think of the riding animation as still being adjusted (in the video) would appreciate it!
(Same for nameplate)

So it's going through QA already huh 2 weeks + 3 days for 1.19??? maybe earlier
I say 9/26-9/30 is 1.19... i hope lol

I must say this is the first time one of Yoshida's post has made me kinda angry.

I have not been playing the game since release, thankfully, but I know the bumpy animation fix has been a request since release. Did we really needed to wait until their QA team said they were dizzy while riding chocobos for them to fix this? and thats not to say they are only looking for a fix for the chocobo ride only, leaving the other one as is....
