I will wait for more info but I am kind of worried about this red colorant thing and being used to enchance the gear for a tank in that exemple. Does it mean that the color of the gear will be indicating what type of role it should be used by? If it's the way it is, it's even worse than the limited dyeing system we got.

Can't we just have esthetic dye system, is it too much to ask? I really hope I am jumping the gun here.

I don't think the color of the mats will show on the final product. They're just a way for crafters to manipulate stats toward a certain role.
