Well it's definitely going on in the English side of the Beta forums. This is why I thought the World names would remain the same. As for if these same conversations are taking place on the JP side, maybe we need to put out the Subligar Signal to Reinheart to find out...

On the Lodestone forums ( http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...tion-.../page5 ) we got to discussing what the NEW PLAYER server names will be for Phase 4.

NOTE TO ALL: When I speak of "server/world names" for Phase 4, I am referring only to the "new player server" names, and not the 10 Legacy Server names. I know those will remain the same.

I didn't even think it was a discussion, because I really thought they would remain the same as the Beta World names. I thought that was part of SE's intention during Beta so that people could make plans with their friends as to where to go for Phase 4 and beyond. I see many people doing so on the English side of the forums under Linkshell/XI Friends/XI Server threads and so on. The discussions I see on the NA side seem under the assumption that I was under - the names would be the same - Adamantoise, Moogle, Coeurl, etc.



Other people believe that those Beta World names are placeholder names and were always intended for Beta only. And they wonder when/how the actual Phase 4 server names will be announced (via Blog, or elsewhere)...

The question was raised whether these discussions are taking place on the JP side, and if the JP side is (also) under the assumption that the new server names (Coeurl, Atomos, etc.) will remain the same as in prior Beta phases. Are JP posters making plans for Phase 4 and beyond to begin on server names which were used in Beta? Or are they under a completely different impression and waiting for server names to be announced?

CAST Commence fishing. Obtained Fisher Lv.1 Requires FSH
EXIT Cancel fishing (and return to normal mode.) Obtained Fisher Lv.1 Requires FSH
TN: Everything from this point on are traits.
DISCOVER SPOT Locate special fishing spots up to level 35 and become able to fish there. Obtained Fisher Lv.15
ENHANCED STEALTH Increases the range of enemies avoidable when using Stealth to level 30. Obtained Fisher Lv.18
(TN: I assume you learn STEALTH at level 8 like the other gathering classes).
ENHANCED STEALTH II Increases the range of enemies avoidable when using Stealth to level 40. Obtained Fisher Lv.28
DISCOVER SPOT II Locate special fishing spots up to level 44 and become able to fish there. Obtained Fisher Lv.33
SAND FISHING Become able to cast in sandy soil. Obtained Fisher Lv.35
ENHANCED STEALTH III Increases the range of enemies avoidable when using Stealth to level 50. Obtained Fisher Lv.38
SET FREE II Set a caught fish free to use as bait. Obtained Fisher Lv.40 (TN: Seems this is a trait, not sure what the ability does before this level or at level you learn the actual ability).
DISCOVER SPOT III Locate special fishing spots up to level 50 and become able to fish there. Obtained Fisher Lv.43
CLOUD FISHING Become able to cast in a sea of clouds. Obtained Fisher Lv.45
