60GB PS3 still the best one, they took out features with each release <.<;
obviously put a 500GB+ drive in it. I like my backwards compatibility.
I still have 2 fully working no issues, in fact there are 4 fully working in the house. Before anyone comments on original PS3 overheating, it doesn't happen if they are in a ventilated area..

Previously reps said we choose our hair color from 192 color selection. Now Triairy confirming you can do the same for skin/eyes/hair mesh.
I would like to see more hair parts like kappa rather than hair + mesh (2). Have mesh-1, mesh-2 or something. By default have mesh-2 copy mesh-1 settings like regular FFXIV and if you want to change to additional color then you may do so. I guess it's too late for that now since that would mean they have to change the model design of the hairこんにちは。

髪色こだわりたい。 ちなみに†FF14のララフェル(このキャラ)髪色単色じゃなくこだわって色入れています。

Would be nice if you can add the color you like to different parts.
Also for the ver 1.x Lalafel (This char) I carefully picked the color.
At current stage we are planning to be able to have 192 colors for the skin, eyes, hair, and mesh![]()

NOTE: Mesh = highlights. Looked up 'hair mesh' on google and showed correct stuff so used that word but I guess it's better to go by highlights.

Statues of the twelve (some) in Beta

現時点では、十二神全てのイラスト化は未定ですが、12神もノフィカとか一部イラスト化されていますが、できれば残りも早めにイラストにして「12神ってこういうイメージなんだよ~」というふうに、ユー ザーに伝えた方がいいと思います。細かい設定とか後回しでいいので、そういう直感的なイメージを早めに公表したら、ユーザーもあれこれ想像が膨らんで楽し いと思います。
Some of the twelve such as Nophica has been illustrated but I think it would be cool if you can illustrate the rest of the twelve for the users. Don't need to have the details about them, just release the image so users can use their imaginations and discuss about it. I think that would be fun.

Compass direction on the minimap.

で回答した、ミニマップの方角について進捗がありましたので、お知らせいたします。
新生版では、ミニマップの方角がキャラクター視線の方向基準に変更できるようになりました。
また、現行版と同様にミニマップの方角を固定することも可能で、これはオプションの設定で自由に切り替えることができます。
βテスト開始時の段階から、こちらの機能は利用することが可能ですので、
βテスター当選のあかつきには、ぜひ利用してみてください

We have an update to the minimaps compass direction.
In ARR you will be able to switch the minimaps compass direction to be same as the direction your character is facing. Just like ver 1.x, it is still possible to lock the compass direction so you can choose freely through option settings.
You will be able to try this feature out from the start of Beta test so please try it out





More character parts may be hard to impelement.

確かにパーツの数が増えると、キャラクター作成の幅が広がるので
出来るものならいくらでも欲しいところではあります。
しかし、パーツの数を増えるとキャラクター情報のパケットが増えてしまい、
ネットワークトラフィックに大きな影響を与えてしまう可能性があります。
日本のインフラ環境は、世界的に見ても良い方だと思いますが、
新生FFXIVは日本以外の地域でもサービスが行われますので、
パーツの追加に関しては、他の地域のインフラ状況を参考にしつつ、
慎重に検討を行う必要があります。
...という事情はあるものの、パーツに関するご要望を受け付けないということはありませんので、
「こういったパーツが欲しい!」というご意見がありましたら、
引き続きフィードバックをいただければと思います
If we can increase the amount of parts it allows to expand the character creation, so if can we want to add as much as we can.
However, by increasing the amount of parts the characters information (data) packet increases and that could cause a major effect to network traffic. Japans enviroment is pretty good when looking from world, but FFXIV ARR is serviced throughout the world so in regards to character parts, we have to carefully check other regions infrastructure.
...although we have that reason, it doesn't mean we're not taking in any ideas regarding parts so if you have ideas/comments on "I want this type of parts!" please continue to leave feedbacks. Thanks
