This one is regarding spell cast cancel key being the jump key.

ワガママだと承知していますが、せめて詠唱中断の時ジャンプのモーションをしないで下さいますか？
I know this is selfish but could you please make it when you cancel the spell to make it not jump?

ジャンプキーを押して詠唱をキャンセルする場合は、ジャンプのモーションが伴います。
When you press the jump key to cancel the spell, jump motion will follow.

ただ、ジャンプキー以外でも魔法詠唱キャンセルができるように現在検討を進めていますので、
ご自身のプレイスタイルにあった方法をご利用いただければと思います。
However, we are currently working towards making it possible to cancel the spell cast aside from jump key as well so please use it matching your own play style.

Regarding 2.0 sub-targeting

①<stpc>を利用してサブターゲットを表示させた状態で、カメラをロックオンが不可能。
When you use <stnpc> to display the sub-target it's not possible to lock the camera

サブターゲットでロックオンが出来る場合、瞬時にロックしたPTメンバーがどこにいるのかが判断できる。
(アビリティや魔法の射程内にいるかの確認等)
FF11ではロックオンが可能で使用頻度も高かったため、FF14でもサブターゲットのロックオンにも対応して欲しいです。
If it's possible to lock-on the sub-target you can see where that locked on PT member is instantly. (Can check if they are within the range of ability/spell)
In FFXI it was possible to lock-on and was used frequently, so would like to have FFXIV also have the sub-target lock-on.

新生版ではサブターゲットの概念が現在版とは異なりますが、要望に近いようなことはできるようになります。
In 2.0 the concept of sub-target will be different from current but would be able to do something close like you requested.

新生版ターゲットシステムは現在、鋭意調整中ですので、現時点では最終的な仕様をお伝えすることはできませんが、実際にβテストで触ってもらい、色々試してもらえれば幸いです。
Currently the 2.0's target system is being adjusted so at this time I can't give the final details for it yet but would like for you to first actually try it out in beta test.

Why does it seem like at this point 1 out of every 3 dev responses are about the targetting system. Yes the system sucks, yes we know it will be changing. I guess I am nitpicking but at this point I already know they are going to improve the targetting system, so I don't see the point in them making so many dev responses about it when they could be talking about something exciting.

To be fair, the targetting system is very important. All that exciting stuff is for naught if the game is frustrating to play due to a rotten targetting system.

Fun, responsive controls trump everything else.

I also think the targeting system is very important as well reason why it's been getting lots of attention on the JP side.
Something Exciting = 1.23 last boss battle, 2.0 stuff for me

Anyways noticed rep/devs comment changed over time.

1) Server issue, due to the server, server... yep server... server... server limitations...server...
2) Will be looked into for 2.0 / Planned for 2.0
3) Please wait for beta test <--- we're here now

Good thing is beta test is pretty close now so we can wait on the stuff the devs replied with #2 and 3 (except for some 'planned' stuff)

Pretty sure trying to get something new/adjustments into last patch for the current version 1.23 going to be hard since it should be pretty much complete and going through QA testing right now to make release by end of July - guessing update next week or week after Mon/Tue (30/31). Also don't know how much they can put in 1.23a,b,c,d.... but doubt they going to change too much on current system unless it's something that can be implemented to both current and 2.0.

Yep... that LOC team stuff I've been clicking on every time to just read the details over and over got to me... was looking around for new job since current job isn't really working for me and bam!.... Translator position (not for in-game stuff so works for me I think) I wasn't even looking at SE's website this time lol I click link and it goes to SE's page... so I was like that's it... just one more try wouldn't hurt and submitted my resume lol

I agree that it is important but how much can you really say about a targetting system at this point. They have had 6 posts since the beginning of the month saying "We will be changing the targetting system in 2.0, thanks for the patience." Like I said I am just being nitpicky, its just kind of disappointing when we get limited info to begin with and a majority of it for the past month has been basically them saying the exact same thing when it all could have probably been put into one post.

They said they going to send me e-mail exactly at 12PM to start test and I have to submit by 1PM.... 12:08PM I haven't received my test yet... and person I talked to yesterday is not available.... orz orz orz orz orz orz orz orz.....

Last time I went in their office and person in charge wasn't there so the assistant setup the computer for me to do the translation on and didn't know the login, and logged in wrong account on the PC which had no internet access when I am allowed to use online dictionaries and stuff... and when finally she got everything done my time got cut short and this time this.... I really hope they count from the time I receive e-mail confirm with the person on the phone....

& yes I checked spam folder already... hopefully the person calls me back as I left message

12:25pm still nothing.... calling again in 5min - Want to ask reps if they had to go through same company I'm going through to take this test 2nd time... Company name starts with W---- T-----

12:33pm ... email received and starting... he didn't even listen to the voice message I left till I called him up again.........................
1:17pm Finished translation and sent it back to the person in charge. Now I wait for the good news... (hopefully)
